RENTAL TERM AND CONDITIONS

I have read carefully the Booking Terms and Conditions and accept them without reservation

Booking Conditions

The renter must be 18 years of age or older to rent equipment and present a valid driver’s license or passport.  Younger participants must have a parent or legal guardian present.

For the renter’s safety, a helmet is provided and renters under 18 years old must wear a properly fitted helmet at all times.

Participants are totally responsible for the rental of bike or equipment, from the time the equipment is rented until the time it is returned including damage and theft of rental of bike or equipment.

Renters must agree to follow all traffic laws, signs, rules, and regulations while riding.  We ask renters to not use cellular telephones or operate cameras while riding due to the disruption to concentration it may cause.

For all bike rentals, a bike tube, pump, lock, bike rack, and handlebar bag will be provided if there any optional requests.  We’re also happy to share some tips on good trails, scenic routes and other cycling information – just ask!

Please return your equipment 15 minutes before closing time in order to allow time for check out. We typically close at 4.30 pm, please take note of our closing time before you depart. If you are having so much fun you’d like to keep the bikes overnight for day rentals and wan to extend, please to let us know by email, call or sms we are glad to make arrangements for a longer rental.

Deposit, Cancelation and Final payment

To make a booking please fill-in the online booking form. 50% deposit on booking (non-refundable) is required to hold or block your rental booking. NO REFUND or rental refund cancelation after sign the paper of rental. No Refund if the rental return the bikes before the finished date or time. We don’t accept any reason the renter USE it or NOT even use the bicycle anymore that already rented after signed the rental paper, after signature renter tottaly agree with the agreements.

Full Payment paid when the renter received the bike, last minute rental cancelation without any agreement upfront the payment is not refundable.

Insurance Bali Bicycle Rental will not assume responsibility or liability for any loss or damage of personal effects or for any injury or loss during the duration of the rent. Therefore, baggage and health/accident insurance are highly recommended. We also strongly recommend to get travel insurance to protect you in the event you must cancel your vacation or if your trip is interrupted for any reason: emergency or illness of the participant or a traveling companion, illness or death of an immediate family member of either the participant or their traveling companion. Travel insurance is recommended and make sure your insurance covers you for riding a bike- if traveling with your own bike make sure your policy covers your bike whilst overseas. Loss of key will be charged IDR.30.000 per key. Lost of Lock sets will be charge IDR.60.000 per lock and lost of helmet will be charged IDR. 250.000 per helmet.

Bicycles are rented out clean and in proper working condition and must be returned in the same manner.

Helmets are offered and recommended as part of the rental contract. Customers who decline to rent and wear helmets have done so at their own will. Bikes are maintained on a daily basis. It is the responsibility of the client to check the bike at the store BEFORE setting out on any ride.

Customer agrees to return the bike in, UNDAMAGED condition to avoid any ADDITIONAL charges for repair, maintenance or replacement. Customer accepts use of the equipment, AS IS, in good condition and accepts full responsibility for care of the equipment while under his/her possession. Damaged parts or components will be repaired/replaced at the shops discretion and customer agrees to pay regular hop rates and retail prices for components replaced. Clean condition means normal wear and tear is accepted but does not include broken spokes, rims, bent rims, damaged frames, handlebars, seats or other parts from misuse and/or crashes.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT

Assumption of Risk: I understand and accept that renting this bicycle and participating in biking exposes me to many hazards and entail unavoidable risk of death, personal injury (including but not limited to severe spinal or head injury) and loss of or damage to property. I also understand I should be in good physical health to participate in bicycling. I choose to participate in bicycling in spite of these risks and hereby assume all risk of injury or loss of life to myself and loss of or damage to property arising out of renting this bicycle and participating in bicycling. I understand the inherent risk involved in using this equipment; accept full responsibility for any and all such damage or injury which may result.

Waiver and Release: In consideration of Bali Bicycle Rental renting me this bicycle, I specifically release and forever discharge Bali Bicycle Rental and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any and all liability or claims for injury, illness, death or loss of or damage to property which I may suffer while renting this bicycle and participating in bicycling. This discharge specifically includes, but is not limited to, liability or claims for injury, illness, death or damage caused by the negligence of Bali Bicycle Rental or its affiliates, officers, agents, or employees. It is my intent by the Waiver and Release Agreement to release Bali Bicycle Rental and hold it harmless from all liability for any such property loss or damage, personal injury or loss of life, whether caused by the negligence of Bali Bicycle Rental or whether based upon breach of contract, breach of warranty, or any other legal theory. In signing this document, I fully recognize that if injury, illness, death or damage occurs to me while I am engaged in renting this bicycle or participating in bicycling, I will have no right to make a claim or file a lawsuit against Bali Bicycle Rental or its affiliates, officers, agents or employees, even if they or any of them negligently cause my injury, illness, death or damage.

I REALIZE the importance of wearing a helmet. A helmet has been recommended to me by Bali Bicycle Rental staff. If I do not wear a helmet I am doing so at my own will.

I UNDERSTAND that this activity may result in severe injury, including but not limited to spinal or head injury

I UNDERSTAND that this activity may result in hazards posed by other bicycles and traffic or road conditions

I UNDERSTAND that there are no bicycle lanes in Bali

BALI BICYCLE RENTAL staffs have answered any questions and any requests I have had

I UNDERSTAND these bicycles may not have visibility enhancement equipment such as blinking lights

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT IN ITS ENTIRITY AND UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT.

I AM AWARE THIS IS AN ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND I SIGN IT VOLUNTARILY.

I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT I SHOULD NOT AND MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS

ACTIVITY IF I AM UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.

FURTHERMORE, I AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE BALI BICYCLE RENTAL AGREEMENT ABOVE.
